Auto-updating Gold and Silver Spreadsheets for Coin &
Bullion Holders v3.17
These autoupdating spreadsheets update metals prices live
including conversion rates for the Canadian Dollar or the British
Pound, thus generating
results in $US and $CDN. Click on the
following thumbnails to see screenshots of the
Silver and Gold sheets. Also included are simple calculators for
obtaining the value of an arbitrary number of grams or Troy ounces of
Silver or Gold.

Update March 30, 2020: Created a USD/British Pound version in addition to the USD/CAD version and added line for 1 gram gold wafer.

Minor Update March 15 2021 plus added Australian $AUD and Polish Złoty versions.

Update March 22, 2021: Fixed minor bugs in all 4 versions (not experienced in practice, luckily).

Update March 26, 2021: Changed from Excel .xls to .xlsx format, seems to work OK with LibreOffice as well now, but not updating with Google Sheets.
Just
enter the quantities of the coins or bullion you have and the
spreadsheet will keep track of the value of your portfolio. If you
enable the autoupdate feature and have an internet connection,
then your spreadsheets will update with live prices for Silver and Gold
as well as for the Canadian and U.S. Dollar exchange rate or the UK Pound or AUD or Polish Złoty.
You
can easily modify the spreadsheet to suit your own needs. I have made
some fictitious quantity entries to help give you an idea of what the
spreadsheet does.
